http://donkzpunkz.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/global_warming1.jpg
VISIT THE LINKS TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS:

1. What is global warming?
Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans and the single biggest environmental and humanitarian crisis of our time. The Earth's atmosphere is overloaded with heat-trapping carbon dioxide, which threatens large-scale disruptions in climate with disastrous consequences.

2. What is the process involved in the greenhouse effect?
The "greenhouse effect" is the warming that happens when certain gases in Earth's atmosphere trap heat. These gases let in light but keep heat from escaping, like the glass walls of a green house.

3. What signs warn us about global warming?
Some of the signs are visible in the Arctic, where rising temperatures and melting ice are dramatically changing the region’s unique landscapes and wildlife—as well as people’s lives and livelihoods. Across the globe, other early warning signs include melting glaciers, shifting ranges of plants and animals, and the earlier onset of spring.

It's an error caused by the people who lives in the Earth because we are making a lot of pollution that causes the global warming. If we want to save the planet, we have to change and use another kinds of energy. I think it is it is a reality because that video shows how humans are destroying nature. And it's panic because the humans we destructing the planet and is very dangerous.

5. What can we do to stop global warming? (Suggest 5 ideas)
To stop or, better global warming can do:
1. Avoid using the car, we improved the transport.
2. Using wind power... among others, we improved the energy production.

Writing 9: WRITE AN EMAIL TO AN INTERNET FORUM

Hi,
My name's Carlota Omedes and I live in North East London. I like the area where I live, so I want to improve it.
In my opinion young people spend all their time hanging around the street. As a result, there are sometimes problems with vandalism and graffiti. So there isn't anywhere for young people to go. There aren't any facilities for them.
I think the council should do something about this. I think they should have some land which local people can use for a youth café.

Carlota Omedes.

She could save the man beacuse they came to a rock and they could hold in it. She was very brave beacuse in the sea there were some very big waves. At the end everything finished well and the man was finally saved by her. What a brave woman!

ROSA PARKS

In 1955, one black woman refused to give her seat to a white man on a bus. The woman was immediately put in prison. Her name was Rosa Parks...

Rosa lived in Montgomery in the southern state of Alabama, USA. She was a respected member of the black community. She worked as a seamstress in a depertment store and took the bus to work every day. Because she was black, she had to sit in a separate section at the back of the bus.

Her new album is doing well too. Alicia says she wants it to inspire her female fans. You might know the songs "Girl on Fire" and Brand New Me". Do they inspire you?

"K-pop" is short for "Korean pop music". K-pop stars dance and sing catchy songs, in Korean and in English. The industry is controlled by talent agencies which teach teenagers music, choreograhpy and English. This makes them into stars. A lot of K-pop singers have plastic surgery on their eyes which gives them a manga look. But none of them look, sing or dance like Psy!

As you walk around, you see Hogwarts school, Hosmeade village and people dressed in wizard clothes... it's just like in the films!

IN TIME

I magine a future where you pay fot things with time, not money. That's what happens in this action-thriller. To live beyond the age of 25, people must work to earn time.
