DIALOGUE 3: TALK ABOUT EXPERIENCES IN THE PAST

Carlota: Hey, Marçal. How was your weekend?
Marçal: Not bad, thanks.
Carlota: What did you do?
Marçal: Oh, I just went into town on Saturday and got a DVD. What about you?
Carlota: I played basketball at the sports centre yesterday. It was fun. When did you last play basketball?
Marçal: I don't know, maybe two weeks ago.
Carlota: How was it?
Marçal: Very good. Let's play next weekend.
Carlota: Ok, great. See you then.
Marçal: Bye, Carlota. See you later.

DIALOGUE 2: MAKE COMPROMISES

Mum: Carlota, can you tidy your room, please?
Carlota: Yes, in a minute. I'm busy at the moment.
Mum: Come on, Carlota. What are you doing?
Carlota: I'm watching something on TV. It's really good.
Mum: Carlota! You need to tidy your room now!
Carlota: Please, Mum! Is it OK if I do it later?
Mum: I suppose so, but don't forget to do it!
Carlota: OK! OK!

 

DIALOGUE 1: ASK FOR GIVE OPINIONS

Marçal: Hey, Carlota, look at this.
Carlota: What?
Marçal: This basketball T-shirt. What do you think of it?
Carlota: Not much, why?
Marçal: Don't you like it? I think it's really nice.
Carlota: Well, it's OK, I suppose. But what about this hat? It's very fashionable.
Marçal: No, I don't think much of that. I can't stand that colour.
Carlota: Oh, well we can't all have good taste!

Writing unit 2: MY IDEAL HOME

My ideal home is a modern and big house out of the city centre. It's got two floors.

Upstairs, there are four bedrooms with four bathrooms inside. It also got one studio with a big desk and a nice balcony. Downstairs, there is a big and modern kitchen, a comfortable living-room, a nice gym and the garage. It also got a big garden with a swimming-pool. The views are amazing! 

Every sunday evening we are all at home. My dad is making dinner. My mum is ironing. My sister is studying and I'm chatting on the internet.
My favourite room is the living-room because it has got a big and comfortable sofa and a big TV. I love watching TV with my family and friends every saturday night.

Hi, I'm Carlota and I'm from Banyoles in Catalonia. I'm independent, but quite shy and sentimental. I've got brown eyes and long brown hair.

I'm into music, and dancing. I train twice a week.

I spend a lot of time on the internet and meeting friends. I spend my money of school material and top-ups for my mobile.
