Tyler Alred
When Tyler Alred, 17, crased a pickup truck into a tree, killing his friend, he might have excepted to be sent to prison. Instead he was sent to church! The judge told Tyler, who had been drinking at the time, that he could avoid prison if he regulay attended his local church for ten years. Defending his controversial decision, Judge Mike Norman told ABC News: "I've done a little bit of this kind of thing before, but never on such a serious charge".
Drugged drink
A teebager whose parents wouldn't let her use the internet after 10pm
was so desperate to go online that she spiked her parents' milkshakes
with sleeping pills. When her parents were asleep, the girl and her
friends were able to use the internet. However, alerted by a strange
taste in their drinks, the gir'ls parents took a drug test the next
day. Now the girls face not only an internet ban but time in a juvenile
prison!
